Overview
The University of Exeter is located in the historic town of Exeter in the south-west of England. The University boasts a large student population of approximately 20,000 students from over 140 countries. The University is one of the prestigious 24 universities that from the Russell Group of universities, a group of universities that produce more than two-thirds of the world-leading research produced in UK universities and support more than 260,000 jobs across the country. The University of Exeter has a longstanding international approach to teaching, with many courses offering the opportunity to study abroad. All students are offered foreign language tuition, either as part of their chosen degree or as a separate evening class.
Services for International Students
Help and assistance are available to all students who require assistance with various issues, including visas, bank accounts and settling in at the beginning of term. Excursions to various cities and nearby attractions, as well as cultural festivals and celebrations, are available throughout the year to help students make new friends and engage with one another.
Accommodation
Accommodation is guaranteed for all new international students who accept an offer and apply for accommodation before the deadline. A range of catered and self-catered accommodation is available to students, all within a 20-minute walk from the nearest campus. Private rented accommodation is available through landlords or private halls of residence.

The University of Exeter has three campuses spread across the South West of England. The University of Exeter’s main Streatham Campus is regarded as one of the most beautiful parkland campuses in the UK. The campus overlooks the historic Roman city which is known for its beautiful architecture and excellent retail and leisure facilities. The city is located in one of the warmest regions of the UK and is benefits from the close proximity to the sea and golden beaches.
