Most of all, Abertay University is most well-known for its strong focus on computer games and art & design and holds official accreditation in both of these fields - the only UK university to do so!

 

Services for International Student

Abertay University welcomes students from over 60 different countries who are welcomed to the university by an International Guide, a useful handbook that answers numerous student questions and queries in relation to visas, banking, the local climate and medical help.

 

Accommodation

Abertay University offers accommodation to students if they request it. All first-year students are given priority for accommodation. Students may choose to book accommodation directly leased through Abertay University or search for private accommodation.

Abertay University is located in the northern Scottish city of Dundee, an hour’s drive from Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh. The city itself is home to a regenerated waterfront that houses two nautical museums. The city is Scotland’s fourth-largest city and has one of the lowest living costs for students in the UK, being 14% cheaper than the UK average
